Before Mimi became a floral designer, she studied Biology in her native Yugoslavia. 

 

She has always had a Green Thumb and an eye for design. But it wasn't until she created floral arrangements for her son's Bar Mitzvah that she was inspired to launch Mimi Markels Floral Design. 

 

Her love for flowers goes deeper than putting pretty petals together. Flowers have their own language & meanings. By putting specific pieces together in beautiful arrangements, they also communicate special feelings including love, empathy, excitement, celebration, success and more.

 

Some of Mimi's custom designs can be found in legal/investment firms, specialty boutiques and the offices.

 

Events include weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, birthdays, retirement, grand openings, holiday and more.
